Your privacy
This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It applies to borisdbr.be.
Last updated: July 2026
Who I am
The controller responsible for your personal data is CommV Debusscher Boris, a company registered in Belgium under company number BE0751.518.485, with its registered office at Korteveld 6, 3090 Overijse.
For anything related to your privacy, contact me at hello@borisdbr.be.
What I collect
I keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you use the site:
- Contact form — the name, email address and message you submit, so I can read and reply to your enquiry.
- Technical logs — my hosting provider automatically records basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type and requested pages) to keep the site secure and running.
- Cookies — see the Cookies section below.
I do not knowingly collect data from children, and I never sell your data.
Why I use it & legal basis
Under the GDPR, I rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for handling your contact-form enquiry and for optional analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interest — for keeping the site secure, available and free of abuse (technical logs).
Cookies
The site uses two categories of cookies. You control the optional ones from the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or any time via .
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choice (cc_cookie). | Always active |
| Analytics | Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to help improve the site. No profiling. | Optional (off by default) |
Who else processes your data
I use a small number of trusted providers (processors) to run the site. They only process data on my instructions:
- Vercel — website hosting and technical logs.
- Supabase — database and media storage (EU region).
- Resend — delivery of contact-form emails.
Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long I keep it
Contact-form emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security. Your cookie preference is stored for up to 6 months, after which you'll be asked again.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data I hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, email hello@borisdbr.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données) at dataprotectionauthority.be.
